COUNCIL SUPPORT FLOWER FESTIVAL

Cllrs. Russell Roberts and Barry Granger presenting Colin Sewell, Publicity Officer for St Marys Church, Barwell, with a cheque donation of £150.00 to be put towards the purchasing of flowers for their Flower Festival.

The theme for this years Flower Festival which takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend is "Movies, Music, Manuscripts and Masterpieces".

As part of our 2017 Community Projects, the Council organised an Easter Event on Radford Park for local children who were each given an Easter Egg after taking part in an Easter Egg Hunt. Thankfully the weather was kind and was very well supported by the local community.
