Rough sleepers force closure of Barwells disabled toilets in the evenings and weekends

Barwell Parish Council have reluctantly made the decision to lock the disabled toilets on Top Town at the same time as the other public toilets due to rough sleepers camping out overnight in the disabled toilet.

BARWELL TIP SET TO CLOSE FOR THREE WEEKS FROM 2ND JUNE

Barwell Tip will be closed temporarily for three weeks from Sunday, June 2.

The closure is set to take place for three weeks, to allow "essential site maintenance and fencing work" to be carried out by Leicestershire County Council. The site will remain closed off until Saturday, June 22.

During the closure, residents and permit holders will need to visit either Coalville or Whetstone tip sites.
