12.00 noon to 5.00pm

This year we have gardens, the Parish Church and allotments open to visitors. A variety of garden styles can be viewed including an informal cottage style, wonderful orchids, allotments and the Church and the George Ward centre garden.

FRIDAY 11TH (2200 hours southbound and midnight Northbound) to SUNDAY 13th May (1500h) J23A - J24 of the M1 will be closed to all traffic.

Police are warning local shoppers to be on their guard following a series of thefts in the area involving purses being stolen from handbags and shopping trollies.

Number of vehicles damaged in Barwell and Earl Shilton

Police have received a number of reports of vehicles being damaged in Barwell and Earl Shilton earlier this week.

At this stage we have received more than 10 reports of vehicles having their tyres slashed overnight on Monday 9 April through to Tuesday morning (10 April).

Radford Park in Barwell was recently littered with over one hundred yellow ducks waiting for the children to find and exchange for an Easter Egg.
