Barwell Parish Community Grant is available to voluntary and community groups in Barwell. Applications are considered by the Parish Council's Finance Committee and Grants are awarded quarterly (March, June, September and December). The deadline for the December award is 15th November so get those applications in. The form can be found on this website

Action Fraud is warning people selling items online to be on the lookout for criminals sending fake PayPal emails.
- Between January 2020 and September 2020, 21,349 crime reports were made to Action Fraud about fake PayPal emails.
- Victims reported losing a total of £7,891,077.44 during this time.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location:
Stockwell Head, Hinckley. The purpose of the TTRO is to allow WPD to undertake the installation of a new service. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 3 days commencing on the 23rd November 2020.

The aim of the Darker Nights campaign is to raise awareness about the risks of being burgled during the darker nights, as well as providing tips and advice on how to keep your home safe. We also want to encourage people to report suspicious behaviour to the police.
