The planting of over 400 free trees, from the Woodland Trust took place at the weekend with help from Councillor Michael Gould and Cllr Pete Stead-Davis.
This now brings the total to well over 1000 new trees being planted over the last three years on Barwell Park, in addition to hundreds of wildflower plug plants and strips of wildflower seeds being sown.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) which will incorporate a temporary road closure is to be made for the following location: Shilton Road, Barwell from the Leicester Road Junction all the way to Top Town roundabout.
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching and any other associated work to the highway.
