Garden waste collections (brown lidded bin) in Hinckley and Bosworth are to be suspended for one week
This is as a result of rising numbers of waste drivers and crew told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace and the national shortage of HGV driver's.
The garden waste service will be suspended from tomorrow Friday 23 July to Friday 30 July inclusive.
It is hoped the move will ensure that all residential (black bin) and recycling (blue lidded bins) rounds will be completed in full as normal. Similar decisions... Read More »

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for Kirkby Road, Barwell. The purpose of the TTRO is to allow STW and their contractors to undertake the installation of new water connection. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 3 days commencing on the 2nd August 2021.
